Here again, in our cold and darkness box, something come had across our mind. Everything has it owns story. The story that act as starting or reference point which can expanded or developed in many ways. As a human, we also have our own story, so did the space? The garden that we dwell a large garden, a super duper large, it’s nothing when space does not exist. No time, no energy, no light, no life, no program and etc2. So how the space did began? A garden of everything? That consist a beginning of all the matter, space, time, and energy which constitute the cosmos. One we discuss about space, the first question appear in our mind are “is space has a boundaries? By referring the big bang theory,it can be realize that the big bang was the starting point of both time and space in our universe. According to big bang, the universe began at particular instant billions of years ago as an infinitely small point of concentrated energy which expanded and subsequently cooled into the matter of the observable world around us. From there, it can conclude that space is boundless. Many of the philosophical questions arose in the 17th century. From Descartes ended Aristotelian, the space become absolute where in the sense that it existed permanently and independently of whether there were any matter in the space. Other than that is Leibniz, space was a collection of relations between objects, by given their distance and direction from one another. Then, come Immanuel Kant described space and time as elements of a systematic framework which humans use to structure their experience. Then mathematicians began to examine non-Euclidean geometries, in which space can be said to be curved, rather than flat (Euclidean). By referring to Albert Einstein's theory of general relativity, space around gravitational fields deviates from Euclidean space, which support by experimental tests of general relativity have confirmed that non-Euclidean space provides a better model for explaining the existing laws of mechanics and optics. Great! Why? We really love it! Mechanics and optics. Because from that, it developed space perception, introduced by Ibnu Haytam, space perception is the visual ability to perceive the world in three dimensions that arises from a variety of depth cues which is important in art. To define space is to make space distinct by literally, it meant to determine boundaries. Is space has a boundaries? Nope, space is boundless but now it’s come to its limit, just like the concept of free falling, even its free falling it’s still have limit, and the limit are come from us, because we all are human not The Creator. Today limits of architecture is things pertaining to the relationship like between spaces and their use between type and program between object and event but how about the in between. In between, and also thing pertaining to the notation of architecture. Do you remember the term? Like public, semi public, semi private, private. The term above is popular in Dk.Ching Book or some said Dk Chiang. Whatever, but us not totally against him. We just want to try a different way to tackle the hierarchy of space and the limit that we mentioned above most importantly we never read this book because it blocks our mind to think, explore, and experiment whatever we like. Come on, there are many ways to explore the limitation that we mentioned above. The best example is done by Bernard Tschumi where he produced the Manhattan Transcript inset particular programmatic and formal concerns within both the architectural discourse and its representation. The Screenplay, we interested to tackled the limit above by using and experiment with film and photography, because if writer could manipulated the structure of the stories in the same ways as they twist vocabulary and grammar, we think architect can do so. By organizing the program in the similarly objective with imaginative way by using territorial devices as repetition, distortion or juxtaposition in the formal elaboration walls simultaneously superimposed the activities that occurred within those every wall. Cynically, conventional organization of spaces could be matches to the most surrealistically absurd set of activities. Do you know what an absurd activity is? Just watched David Lynch film. Vice versa not to be confused with the drama Vice Versa which plays at TV3. Vice versa most intricate and perverse organization of spaces also could accommodate the everyday life of an average suburban family. However the most important here is the understanding that the relation between program and building could be either highly sympathetic or contrived and artificial not styles. We rejected the style and trend in architecture. Architecture is not a style. Architecture is not a trend.
